Who I Am

A career built on institutional trust.

I am Mulyadi Subali — a sworn and certified professional translator and interpreter specialising in Indonesian–English, based in Bandung, West Java. My career spans over two decades and four countries, with in-house roles at the World Bank, Ford Motor Company, Toyota Motor Asia Pacific, and United Overseas Bank — institutions where translation accuracy carries direct legal, financial, and operational consequence.

I hold sworn translator certification issued by Decree of the Governor of DKI Jakarta, and dual legal translation certification from Universitas Indonesia — the highest level of translator accreditation under Indonesian law. I am also a ProZ Certified PRO, a credential independently verified by the world's largest professional translator network.

Beyond translation, I have worked as a simultaneous interpreter for the FBI, DEA, ATF, U.S. Secret Service, ICE/HSI, UNDP, UNICEF, UNESCO, UN Women, and numerous corporate and government clients across Southeast Asia. My interpretation work spans law enforcement, human rights, non-proliferation, corporate events, and international development — contexts where precision under pressure is not optional.

I bring the same institutional-grade standards to every project — whether a single certified translation for an individual client or an ongoing translation partnership with a global agency.
