Why add Mulyadi to your
Indonesian linguist roster
For most translation agencies, sourcing a reliable Indonesian vendor is harder than it looks. The language pair is high-demand, but the pool of credentialed specialists — translators who combine sworn certification, domain depth, and professional institutional experience — is small and getting smaller.
The practical consequence for project managers: Indonesian projects either go to general freelancers without specialist credentials, or they require extensive vetting and quality oversight. Neither is ideal when a deadline is running.
Adding Mulyadi Subali to your Indonesian roster solves this. One vendor relationship covers your legal, financial, technical, marketing, localization, and MTPE needs in the Indonesian language pair — with the sworn certification to handle official submissions, the CAT tool compatibility to drop straight into your workflows, and the track record to give your clients a credential they can reference.
The goal is a long-term vendor relationship, not a one-off transaction. Project managers who work with Mulyadi once typically continue — because consistency in terminology, reliability on deadlines, and direct communication without layers of intermediary are things worth keeping.
The Indonesian sworn translator qualification exam (UKP), administered by Universitas Indonesia, has not been conducted since 2010. No new sworn translators can be appointed under the original scheme. The pool of active, credentialed sworn translators is fixed and will not grow. For agencies whose clients require sworn or certified translation of Indonesian documents, sourcing a verified sworn translator is a genuine constraint — not a routine vendor selection.
Domain × service coverage matrix
A quick reference for project managers allocating Indonesian work. Domains are those where the combination of in-house experience and sworn certification provides genuine specialist depth — not declared specializations without history behind them.
- Full service
- Available with conditions
- Not offered
Primary direction. Full specialization across all domains. Highest output quality. Preferred for most agency projects.
Available for legal, financial, technical, and certified translation. Discuss scope at project intake for marketing or UI content.
Integrated into your workflow
from day one
Full compatibility with industry-standard CAT tools and cloud TMS platforms. Translation memory leverage discounts are honored, client glossaries are applied consistently from the first segment, and files are returned in the format your pipeline requires.
For ongoing relationships, a standing brief — covering rate structure, preferred formats, TM leverage bands, glossary, and style guide — is agreed once and applied across every project. No re-briefing, no repeated explanations.

- Direct TMS access
Login credentials accepted for Phrase, XTM, Smartcat, Lokalise, Crowdin, and equivalent cloud platforms. Work directly in your TMS — no file transfer overhead for PMs.
- TM leverage discounts honored
Standard fuzzy match bands apply. A rate card aligned with your agency's vendor rate structure is provided on request. High-repetition and TM-heavy batches priced accordingly.
- Glossary from segment one
Client glossaries and termbases are loaded before work begins and applied consistently throughout. Existing TMs are leveraged without asking. New TMs are updated on delivery.
- NDA available
Standard non-disclosure agreements are signed before project start for sensitive corporate, legal, or financial content. Your agency's template or a mutual NDA — either works.
- QA note with every delivery
Each delivery includes a brief QA note flagging any source inconsistencies, ambiguous segments, or text expansion issues that reviewers or developers should be aware of. No silent decisions.
- Sample translations available
For new agency relationships, a complimentary sample edit (250–500 words) is available to demonstrate quality before the first project is placed. No commitment required.
The credentials your agency
can reference in proposals
Sworn certification, dual academic accreditation, and a verified professional network status that your vendor management team can document — and that your clients can cite when submitting translated documents to institutions.
Interpretation clients — selected
Interpretation clients are the single strongest indicator of the trust level this work has been held to. Few Indonesian translators working with agencies have a roster that includes five U.S. federal law enforcement agencies and four UN bodies — in contexts where precision under pressure is a baseline requirement, not a differentiator.
What to expect on timing
and pricing
Rates are quoted per project based on word count, direction, domain complexity, and turnaround requirement. Translation memory leverage is applied using your agency's standard fuzzy match bands — confirmed in writing before any project begins.
For ongoing agency relationships, a rate card aligned with your vendor management framework can be agreed in advance — eliminating per-project negotiation and allowing PMs to allocate work directly.
Specific rates are provided at quote stage. Volume discounts and standing rate cards for ongoing relationships are available on request.

Vendor onboarding — how it works
Adding Mulyadi to your roster takes one exchange of information. Most agencies are ready to assign the first project within 24 hours of initial contact.
- Send your vendor registration form or initial brief
Most agencies have a vendor onboarding form — send it directly by email. Alternatively, describe the Indonesian work you need covered: language pair, service types, typical domains, approximate volumes, and CAT tool requirements. A completed vendor profile, credentials documentation, and rate card will be returned promptly.
- Exchange NDA and rate structure (if applicable)
If your agency requires a non-disclosure agreement before vendor registration, send your template — it will be signed and returned without delay. For agencies with a standard vendor rate card, the structure will be reviewed and agreed at this stage. For project-by-project pricing, rates are confirmed per-assignment at quote stage.
- Request a sample translation (optional)
For new agency relationships, a complimentary sample translation — 250 to 500 words, in your preferred domain — is available before the first project is placed. This allows your reviewers or end clients to assess quality against your standards without commitment. Sample work is returned in the CAT format of your choice.
- Assign your first project
Once the vendor profile is established, project allocation is straightforward — send the PO, source files, TM, glossary, and deadline via email or directly through your TMS. Turnaround is confirmed within two hours during business hours. For ongoing work, a standing brief eliminates per-project re-setup entirely.
